A home visit generally takes between 2 and 4 hours.

During a home visit, we ask a lot of questions to do a proper assessment - for example about your dog's history and his relationship with you, your family and also his environment.

During a home visit we will discuss with you why the dog behaves the way he does and what can be done about it. We will set up a treatment plan for you.

You will get a detailed written report about the assessment and the treatment plan.

Depending on the behaviour problem, follow-up sessions are sometimes necessary, particularly in aggression cases. We can for example set up controlled training situations with stooge dogs to help you and your dog with the training/behaviour modification.

Telephone and email back up and help is always available to you after a home visit.

Home Visits

I have a problem dog - he makes my life difficult and stressful!
My dog is aggressive towards other dogs or people!
My dog is destructive - he's eating my home!
My dog hates being home alone!
My dog messes indoors!
My dog barks too much!
My dog does not listen to me at all!
My dog wants constant attention!

If your dog has any of the above problems or any other issues that you find difficult to deal with, a home visit might be the answer for you! Home visits are generally advisable when your dog has severe behaviour problems or if there are a multitude of issues that cannot be simply dealt with in a class environment or a 1-2-1 session. Occasionally, a dog owner might prefer a home visit just to get general advice... perhaps if they are a first time dog owner or if they cannot attend classes.
A home visit generally takes between 2 and 4 hours.
